According to an assessment by the World Bank subsidiary, the International Finance Corporation, Colombia is considered “a positive example of financial stability and market reforms”. In the Global Competitiveness Index, which measures the competitiveness of a country, Colombia ranks 66th out of 137 countries (as of 2017). In the Economic Freedom Index, the country ranks 37th out of 180 countries in 2017.
